Science and Technology is the Key Learning Area where children develop a greater interest in the world around them and open the way to an enriched view of themselves, society, the environment and the future.

In Science and Technology the children will be involved in research, investigating their environment, using many kinds of technology, working with a variety of materials, being involved with hands-on experiences, and designing and making useful things. At St Cecilia’s Science and Technology maybe integrated into relevant and meaningful units of work or is taught as a separate and discrete subject area.
